What this covers
This policy explains how briandevans.com handles information when you browse the site, use its conversation experience, or choose to submit an opportunity for review. It applies to this site, not to independent websites or services linked from it.
Information the site handles
Normal site requests carry technical information needed to deliver and protect the service. For the conversation experience, that includes an IP address and limited session, rate-control, and abuse-prevention records. The browser receives a strictly scoped, HttpOnly session cookie only when the conversation service opens a session.
If you use the conversation, the service processes the messages you send and a bounded conversation transcript so it can respond within the session. That state is tied to a time-limited chat session (currently four hours). Expiry limits live access to that session; it is not a promise that every related technical record is immediately deleted. Chat use is not itself a request for contact or a submitted opportunity.
A lead is saved only after the conversation shows a review and you explicitly confirm submission. That record can include the contact and opportunity details you choose to provide, such as your name, company, email address or Telegram handle, and the substance of your request.
How information is used
Information is used to operate the site and conversation, protect it from misuse, apply session and rate limits, assess explicitly submitted opportunities, and maintain the private owner review workflow. A saved opportunity does not guarantee a response, meeting, introduction, or other outcome.
Hosting, AI, and private automation
The site is hosted and served through Cloudflare, including the application state used for conversations and submitted opportunities. Messages needed to generate an AI response are sent to the configured AI provider, currently Wafer AI. The application requires the provider's ZDR option for those requests; the provider's own terms and privacy materials govern its handling of that information.
Private owner automation can receive only a lead event reference. A separately authenticated private workflow may then retrieve an explicitly submitted lead for owner review; the webhook is not sent the full chat transcript.
Your choices and questions
Please do not send sensitive, confidential, or regulated information through the chat. You can decide not to submit an opportunity, and you can contact us about a privacy request or a submitted opportunity at contact@briandevans.com. Please include enough context for us to locate the request without sending unnecessary sensitive information.
